Volterra with 3000 years of history, from the Etruscans to the Romans through the Middle Ages up to modern times is still a lively town in the heart of Tuscany.
You can go walking, cycling or riding, but also simply relax or visit famous towns nearly, such as San Gimignano (15 Km), Siena(40 km), Pisa (60 km), or Florence (70 km).
Our farm offers simple but comfortable hospitality in cosy and carefully restored rooms and flats in a genuine country atmosphere.
Of primary importance is that we farm our land with biological methods -the basis for slow food.
Our agriturismo il like an oasis in the wonderful landscape of the hills surronding Volterra. If you love nature, you will be happy to let your eyes wander over the hills with their soft colours or go long walks, muntain bike rides or on horseback.

Angela together with her father Luigi, founder of the Agricola Bellaria, in which the Agriturismo is located, will provide you with all the tips you need to visit the most interesting paths along the Volterra hill. Born and raised in Volterra, from which she moved away only for university studies, Angela decided to collaborate in the management of family businesses, dedicating herself to the accommodation facility. Grown up breathing the peasant culture of which every day thanks to the fatherly teaching tries to steal every secret, it also actively collaborates in the management of the farm. The father, Luigi, will know how to satisfy all your curiosity concerning the agricultural activities practiced in the company and, if you wish, you can take part in some of them such as the grape harvest or the olive harvest.

We stayed at this very well-kept and clean agriturismo, and Angela is very hospitable. It is located about 20 minutes from Volterra and 30 minutes from San Gimignano. The road to get there is a bit rough, but if you want to relax, it's the right place. We also had the chance to see two deer on the road leading to the agriturismo.

Fabulous place, there's little to say. You must come here, if you want to find peace within yourself you must come here. Nature at 100%, it's wonderful to be here, then the managers are lovely people inside and Gloria and Ernesto, two wonderful and affectionate dogs. I am happy to have been here.

The Agriturismo Biologico Bellaria is in a fairytale location, surrounded by hills that offer a unique spectacle in every season. The hospitality of Angela and her husband, with their little one and the legendary dog Ernesto, made us feel at home. Thank you! We will definitely be back.

Considering that I have already been to Tuscany three times and therefore I started already knowing places and flavors, I can calmly say that I had never visited such a beautiful place in such a charming position! It was fun to travel the road to get there. Cristiano and I were asking ourselves: is this the right way? Everything was excellent, from the priceless hospitality, the cleanliness, the quality-price ratio, to the products sold at Agriturismo Biologico Bellaria (oil, cold cuts, wine), especially those made with the Pomarancina sheep that can only be found from Luigi! A thank you and see you soon to Angela, Luigi, and Fabio because we left our hearts there and sooner or later we have to come back to get it.
