Breakfast

Breakfast time is an opportunity to welcome guests into the family by satisfying their appetite with genuine, fresh, and local food. Visitors are shown the places to visit while being served local delights such as almond granita, prickly pears, or freshly picked figs. The cake can be paired with wine, jam, ricotta, or other local delicacies, and the orange juice smells of freshly plucked fruit from the tree, which can be enjoyed outside the living room. Moreover, there are many more treats prepared and available in the buffet.

To manage the B&B Terra Marique ensure the couple Andrew and Lucy, now retired and devoted to new attività. Lui handsome, diligent in working the land that encompasses the house, in cultivating vegetables and cherish the roses, the grafts do with the creative mind. And then the character a man of another era: honest and helpful, a former firefighter when you rely entirely ropes.

She, Lucia, from the eclectic mind, who knows everything about Syracuse, the Greek Theatre, the Fountain of Arethusa, Myths of matriarchy and Santa Lucia.

Both love to entertain guests, a little spoil them with delicacies, and enjoy passing on the knowledge acquired in the years to young people, repeating the saying of Solon: growing old, and I always learn things in nuove. Entering Biblion lounge, where you have breakfast in the morning, appears to manifest the character of the managers: a table where you can entertain yourself with objects campaign of the past, in wood and iron, well polished by Andrea and also a library and a sitting area (near the bar) where you will find books on philosophy, anthropology, psychoanalysis and novels and essays possenti.

Connubio perfect body and mind. Meet the other (the guests) is definitely opportunity for knowledge and growth. Let us hope that the virtue of friendship will always prevail.

I stayed at this property with my partner during the summer holidays. We really enjoyed it. The owners are lovely, very friendly and helpful people. The location is great for visiting the area of Siracusa and the entire eastern coast. We focused on the beaches, but the pearls of Sicilian baroque are also easily reachable. We appreciated that the property was immersed in the green countryside, yet restaurants and bars are nearby. The room, located on the ground floor with direct access to the garden, was functional and extremely clean. I recommend this property.

Great location, 10 minutes by car from Ortigia, attentive and caring customer service, kind and attentive, internal garden parking, pleasant and well-kept place, very varied and delicious sweet breakfast. Access to the B&B, accommodation, and parking, autonomous at all times. Recommended for visiting the southeast of Sicily.

On vacation in Syracuse with a friend, we loved this stop at Lucia and Andrea's: their kindness, hospitality, the setting, and the fantastic breakfast that gourmets like us could only appreciate. Go there, you won't regret it.
