La Roba degli Ulivi offers you the opportunity to spend a relaxing stay in a charming rural setting that does not give up the most exclusive comforts.
Our rustic farmhouse is nestled in the picturesque countryside of Montaperto, "Borgo Feudale," perched on a hill with excellent landscape values.
Originally, our property, currently the residence of Alberto and Valentina, the hosts, was a "Terrana" dwelling, with a single livable space for eating and sleeping. The "Solaru" for the storage of wheat and forage; the "Frantoio" for olive pressing.
The adjacent accommodations for guests, made of white stone and wood, extend over two levels. The lower level, carved into the rock, offers visitors the charm of a nativity scene.
On the upper part, there is a shared kitchen equipped with wood-fired ovens, a large living room, and the rooms overlooking the swimming pool and garden.
The interiors have been renovated using materials of ancient Sicilian tradition, such as terracotta floors, ancient sandstone walls, wood, and wrought iron. Overall, the accommodation facility has eight double and triple rooms, each with a private bathroom, air conditioning, and a garden where you can admire olive trees, palm trees, numerous succulent plants, and seasonal flowers. It is a place of relaxation and moments of outdoor life.

This moment is carefully curated to create a rustic and natural atmosphere, while respecting the typical flavors of the area. During breakfast, you will have the opportunity to taste our delicious organic jams and honey. You can also enjoy fresh seasonal fruit, often harvested directly from our fig, lemon, plum trees, and more. Additionally, our guests particularly appreciate the scent of freshly baked bread, which pairs perfectly with lemon or orange marmalade. Depending on your preferences, breakfast can include pastries like croissants, coffee, milk, fruit juices, and biscuits, or savory options such as omelettes, bruschetta, cold cuts, and cheeses.

We made a reservation for two nights but we finally stayed only for one night due to:
Negative things in order of importance:
1) stinking sewers in our room making almost impossible to sleep
2) water supply was cut off in our room when we got up (after the terrible night). Water supply resumed after breakfast
3) initial night we stayed for dinner as they announced Sicilian "antipasto" and grilled meat. Finally we were given Sicilian "antipasto" (really nice by the way) and battered meat (the one given to kids)
Positive things: Beautiful house, nice views, Friendly staff (not owner)
