We believe travel can change lives and be surrounded by nature can reduce stress, leaving you kinder and more creative which is the main reason we choose to live in the countryside – there’s no more endless chores, no rushing about, just green hills, the smell of flowers, amazing sunsets and a glass of good wine at the end of the day.
Life is beautiful in its simplicity and we would like to share our little part of it with you. We keep things really simple – our cosy rooms come with handmade wooden furniture and are perfect for couples. Room Facilities: private bathroom, air conditioner, bath towel set, hairdryer, sheet set, drying stand, mini fridge, private or shared patio.
We offer homemade breakfast and as you’ll be in the heart of nature, it’s also a great place for bird watching. The local area is steeped in Sardinian history, and some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe are only minutes away.
Other activities to try are hiking, swimming, diving, kayaking, horse riding and cycling, all of which are available in nearby Ogliastra. Time spent amongst nature is never wasted. Travel differently! Come and visit us at countryside B&B Turudhis.

We believe breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Our delicious Mediterranean breakfast is served on the terrace and includes homemade cakes and tarts, local ricotta and goat milk yoghurt, homemade jams, local honey and butter, seasonal fruits and fresh bread.

In the early 1900s, in a small mountain village, Mr. Antonio Stochino decides to purchase some land in the plains, ideal for transhumance from the Gennargentu mountains and to overcome the winter period. He buys seventy hectares in the Turudhis area of Tortolì and moves all his livestock to the coast during the cold periods.
Over the years, his entire family continues to care for the land, respecting ancient traditions. Thus, one of Mr. Antonio's nephews, Sandro, after completing his studies in Agriculture, establishes a farming company, while continuing his independent profession and hoping to dedicate himself exclusively to agriculture one day. In 2013, the dream finally becomes a reality, as he and his wife Maryana move to live on the family land, rich in history, to fully devote themselves to the farming business.
After two years of intense work, the land, originally intended solely for livestock, is reconsidered. Downhill from the hill dominated by the "Turudhis" nuraghe, Sandro, Maryana, and now also their son Leonardo, establish a family-run farmhouse.
A family that has chosen to live in simplicity and enjoy the small everyday moments opens their doors to share a unique experience.

Turudhis is surrounded by nature but it is not far from km 135 of the main road Orientale Sarda SS125 and from the town of Tortolì / Bari Sardo (5 km).
Turudhis’ location is ideal if you want to visit the beaches of the Ogliastra region without driving too far: Spiaggia di Cea, Lido di Orri, il Golfetto, Foxi e Lioni.
The harbour of Arbatax is situated 10 minutes by car and connects Ogliastra to the mainland and in particular to Civitavecchia and Genova, is only a few kilometres away. From the harbour of Arbatax or Santa Maria Navarrese, you can also take the ferry-boats on a cruise that will take you to some of the most beautiful beaches of the Golfo di Orosei: Cala Luna, Cala Sisine, Cala Biriola, Cala Mariolu and the caves of the Golfo di Orosei.

Quattro stelle e mezzo mi sembrano davvero troppe. La camera era minimalissima, non c'era zanzariera alla finestra ed il giardino era malamente curato. Colazione senza lode e senza infamia. Lo consiglierei ad un amico? No.
