Sa Stiddiosa

In the heart of Barbagia lies the small town of Gadoni, with a population of around 800, nestled among the mountains, where the "Sa Stiddiosa guesthouse" was born. A welcoming home to receive and accompany you on your journey through the inland areas of Sardinia. A journey and stay that will take you to discover places that were previously unknown to you: the Corongia Forest that develops above and at the foot of an immense limestone "taccu"; the natural monument of "Su Campalini", a limestone pinnacle that dominates the Flumendosa valley; the abyss of "su disterru de Luritta" in the heart of the Corongia Forest; the Sa Stiddiosa waterfall on the right bank of the Flumendosa in the territory of Gadoni; the natural pools of "Sa Pischedda"; the Is Arredelus beach; the mining site of "Funtana Raminosa". "Sa Stiddiosa Guesthouse" will allow you to get to know not only the natural and post-industrial environment, but also the people, culture, and traditions of this small and welcoming town.

The structure is the result of careful refurbishment of an existing building and was created with the mission of providing hikers with comfortable accommodation as a starting point for exploring the mountains of Barbagia. Sa Stiddiosa guest house has 6 comfortable rooms, all with private bathrooms; a large lounge as a common space; two fully equipped kitchens; two large terraces with a relaxation area and a reception area. Central heating, free internet connection, and a shoe rack are also available.

The structure is located on the main road of Gadoni, in Umberto I Street 17, with ample free parking.
