The Artists' Inn is not just a hotel, it is a home that exudes creativity, passion, and love in the beautiful Province of Ogliastra.
We know you are a professional photographer, but also work in the hospitality industry. We force you into a sort of "Sophie's Choice", which could you never give up? Well, a very difficult choice.. but I don't think I could ever give up photography. Photography is a part of me, it is the eye with which I look at the inn, it is the way I observe and try to satisfy the customer and meet people. Photography, as I see it, is not just a profession or a passion, it is part of my DNA!
What is the most challenging aspect of managing a lodging facility and what is the most enjoyable? Sometimes it's challenging to please demanding and picky customers, but it's part of the game! I love my job, the most enjoyable thing is its dynamism. The constant encounter and interaction with different people, the relationships that are formed with the customers, the human exchange.
Can you tell us about the Artists' Inn? Why did you choose this name? The Artists' Inn is a carefully furnished mini hotel, with spacious and comfortable rooms. The idea was born from wanting to give new life to my native home, which is the result of my parents' sacrifices. Every smallest detail has been taken care of by me and my family, which is why it has a familiar and welcoming atmosphere. Loving art, and feeling like an artist in many ways, I wanted to reflect in the inn what I understand as free expression and creativity, where different artists, more or less famous, could leave their mark, giving the inn its own soul!
One of the striking elements is the large mural that welcomes you as soon as you enter, how did the collaboration with the two international street artists come about? The collaboration started on the web. I met them through a social media platform, carefully reviewed their works, and the collaboration started immediately with enthusiasm. The tightrope walker was love at first sight, and so I had it created! Loving jazz and Miles Davis, I thought of having a jazz musician painted on the entire wall of the common room in the inn. It was beautiful to follow the work, see the artworks take shape day after day, observe the artists at work with their different styles. My projects for the inn are always in full swing, I don't feel and don't want to put a stop to them, I want the structure to reflect my dynamism and creativity, so every year I will choose 2 artists who can create murals or installations, bringing their art to the inn. And who knows, maybe over time I will realize other ideas and collaborations!
Why should people choose the Artists' Inn? Definitely for its central location in the village, and for the new and meticulously designed structure, from the furnishings to the comfort, all at a B&B rate! But there's much more! The care for the customer, the family atmosphere, my personal attention and that of the staff can be the icing on the cake for a vacation in a charming place like Ogliastra.
How important do you think social media presence is for lodging facilities? I think it is fundamental in this historical moment. It is an important channel to know the opinions of customers, to better understand what they need, to be informed about new realities and improve one's structure. The suggestions of those who have stayed with me are precious, and I always take them into full consideration, adding something of my own, with the style of the inn!
What are the goals you have set for the coming months? To make the inn known and open a small refreshment area for my customers.
If you had to describe Sardinia to a foreigner and could only use three words, what would you use? Sea, tradition, wild.

Excellent structure, brand new, tastefully furnished and super clean. Impeccable reception and availability of a superior level, very central and quiet location, close to all those wonderful places that only this coast can offer. Cost is within the norm for both the structure and the area. A pity only one night this time, but there will be other opportunities for a longer and more enjoyable stay. Thank you.

We stayed only one night but it was a magnificent experience for both us and the kids who found their refuge in the loft, with two beds. The structure is new, extremely clean and meticulously cared for in every detail with an interior design that recalls Sardinia, its sea, its fabrics and objects. It is just a few steps from the main street full of life, yet in total tranquility. Giovanni is an exquisite and very helpful person. Breakfast in the shaded and quiet inner garden is rich in homemade products (cakes, jams) and is a very pleasant and relaxing moment that helps to start the day in the best way.

I really enjoyed my stay, I will definitely recommend it to anyone who asks me for a Bed and Breakfast in the area. They were extremely kind in welcoming us at the last minute, late at night. Room tidy and impeccable cleanliness, breakfast in great style, kindness and relaxation that is excellent in the morning. The location is perfect because it is just a stone's throw from the center and you can walk out without any problems. If another vacation comes up in this area, I will know where to stay. Thanks again to the staff.
