Le Colonne di Tharros

The B&B"Le Colonne di Tharros" is located at the entrance of the village of San Giovanni di Sinis. The peninsula of Sinis is considered by many as the pearl of the marine protected area and is one of the most fascinating and pristine areas of Sardinia. The multi-faceted Sinis is captivating strip of wild nature and rare beauty characterized by an incredible variety of scenary: the placid pounds from which you can marvel at the rich avian wildlife; the rolling hills where the wide -spread mediterranean vegetation(known as macchia) can be found; the crystal -clear water and the stretches of quartz sand, well-known for its enchanting whiteness; and the archaeological sites of indescribable significance, capable of satisfying the interests of the most demanding visitor.

LOCATION

The building has an enviable view of the Mistras pound and of the marina, and is located merely 150m from one of the most beautiful beaches of the area, 300m from one of the oldest Sardinian churches, and 700m from the important archaeological area of Tharros. It is just over 2km from other places of interest, among athers: the Seu Oasis, the white-quartz beaches of Maimoni and Is Arutas, and the well-known village of San Salvatore, famous for its ancient hypogeum and the annual festival featuring the "Race of the Barefooted"(Corsa degli Scalzi). In the area, it is possible to participate in a wide variety of activities: boat trips, horse riding, scuba diving, as well as surf. Courses are also available for many of these activities.

FACILITIES

The welcoming and comfortable B&B features three stylishly decorated rooms, a large living area with tv, a porch, a large garden covered by a pergola, as well as grill. A wide-ranging breakfast will served daily in the living room. Guests will also have other amenities such as a refrigerator and hair drier available, among others.

The price includes breakfast, and cleaning service. Please note that towels will be changed and the bathroom will be cleaned every three days whereas the sheets will be changed every six days. Children up to 4 years stay for free; children from 5 to 10 yearspay 30%.
