Commare Maria is composed of two separate properties located in the same neighbourhood at the heart of the historical centre.
Rooms and apartments have been recently renovated respecting local architecture and style and immediately provide guests with the sense of hospitality and wellbeing. The warmth and openness of the Agnonese will make guests feel immediately at home.
Our aim is to help increase sustainable tourist development in Agnone and its historical centre by offering guests a memorable stay with no negative environmental impacts.

Commare Maria always enjoyed welcoming friends a visitors into her home. Everyone who visited Agnone had at least once the chance to have a chat with her. Each sunny day she would sit on her bench outside her house and was always ready to offer her special hospitality to those passing by or going to the bakery.
Commare Maria Guest houses are now owned by Mattia and Umberto, grandchildren of Commare Maria. Thanks to their travels around the world they are accustommed to sharing experiences, meeting new cultures and have developed an outstanding sense hospitality.
This cosy and friendly Bed and Breakfast is also managed by Commare Maria’s son, Enzo, who is always available to give helpful advice on the best places to visit, eat and, of course, drink in the town and the surroundings.

The apartment was all at our disposal, quiet and cool despite the high external temperature. Excellent location in the heart of the historic center, a few steps from the historic literary bar in Piazza Plebiscito, where breakfast was included in the price. Really everything is walkable, even the famous foundry is at a reasonable distance. What about the owner: a truly friendly and helpful person!
