Perched on a hillside overlooking Pesaro, the Villa Il Pignocco is a spacious development of individually owned accommodations in 4 acres of landscaped gardens and a wood with a large pool in a beautiful part of Italy.
The accommodations have their own unique charm: the restored ancient cotto tiles create a characteristic feel; the peculiar greyish walls and exposed beams combine with the traditional textile to create a lovely tranquil atmosphere. Tastefully decorated and furnished to a high standard, the accommodations have independent conditioned air and heating, kitchen area, TV, Wi-fi and Wire Internet connection, telephone, small lounge or sitting room.
The accommodations lead into a large garden which features outdoor seating for relaxing, or dining and a private outdoor swimming pool, with massaging water jets.
The Rental Villa Il Pignocco is a great base for visiting very attractive historic towns located more inland, via rolling hills and stunning country roads in the region of Le Marche: Urbino, Fano, San Leo and Gradara.
Nearby the Rental Villa there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy great meals in several traditional Italian restaurants and “trattoria”.

We stayed in the Feronia suite, a very unique location spread over 4 floors of a turret connected by a spiral staircase: on the first floor the small kitchen also equipped with a kettle with tea and herbal teas available, on the second floor the wardrobe and the bathroom with the whirlpool tub, on the third floor the bedroom with all the glass walls, on the fourth floor the solarium terrace. Although not particularly comfortable due to the many steps, it is certainly and absolutely fascinating: being able to admire the moon lying on the comfortable mattress, waking up to the chirping of birds or enjoying the stars on the solarium rocked by the breeze is truly rewarding, a unique and regenerating experience. The presentation on the website is truthful: “Uniqueness and originality characterize this room, where you sleep up there in the sky, among the stars and the clouds”. You feel suspended in the middle of nature. Impeccable cleanliness. Thanks to Anna and Francesca for making us experience this wonderful stay!

Wonderful surroundings, lovely host and a top-class service for breakfast, cleanliness, a spectacular swimming pool surrounded by olive trees... not to mention a breathtaking view from our exclusive tower suite. It almost seemed unreal at times. What I also greatly appreciate (also having a little kid myself) is the approach based on genuineness, sustainability, and preservation of the territory. Fantastic!

Beautiful location, at the top of a hill overlooking Pesaro and the sea, at the same time convenient to the underlying highway and isolated from other buildings. Panoramic view 360°. Huge and well-kept park, with a small garden between the main house and the small chapel next to it. The structure is an old summer house with a renovated barn, once owned by a noble family, the rooms (we were 10, we occupied 5) are located both in the main building and in the barn, have independent access from the outside and are simply but tastefully furnished. Each one is equipped with a kitchenette or fireplaces to make a coffee. Breakfast is in the main house, where one of the 2 sisters who manage the structure lives. Homemade cakes, muffins and cookies, but also cold cuts, cheeses and cereals, all in a large room with a big table and an area with armchairs and a sofa, where to plan the excursions. Everything very right, familiar and friendly. The managers are very courteous, never intrusive but always present, we asked them where to dine in the 2 days we were guests, and we were very satisfied with their recommendations. Thanks to them, in addition to seeing Urbino, Gradara and the park of Monte San Bartolo (the scenic spot where Vale46 trained as a boy), we discovered Montefabbri, a very nice little village. I think it's needless to say that I recommend it!

We had a great time at Il Pignocco Country House, especially for the relaxed atmosphere and the friendliness of the whole family. Much appreciated the well-equipped kitchenette in the room and the restful silence both during the day and at night. We will definitely come back!

Excellent place, attention to the smallest details. Very suggestive view over Pesaro and the sea. Beautiful room, clean, with a nice bathroom and efficient heating. A room that can be defined as a gem. The owners are kind and capable. Despite the delay due to our fault, they still provided us with a high-level breakfast. A place not to be missed to use as a base in Pesaro and surroundings.
