The B&B "Le dame della Cortesella" is located at 56 via Milano, on the third floor of a typical and ancient Lombard courtyard house.

As you can see from the photos taken from our window, a few steps will separate you from Porta Torre and the ancient medieval walls that enclose the charming historic center. Moreover, you can take advantage of all the conveniences that a location like this can offer (bars, restaurants, supermarkets).

Our B&B is a prestigious residence that relives the emotions of the past, an elegant and unique residence in the originality of its style, an ancient building where echoes of the past meet the comforts of the present.

Breakfast includes coffee, cappuccino, tea and herbal tea, milk and jugs of orange juice and fruit juice.

Little jars of plain yogurt with biscuit base which you can add to your liking hazelnuts, almonds, grain's coconut, chocolate chips, muesli or peaches with syrup.

There is also handmade croissants, bread, cereals, biscuits, honey, jams and single-serving butter.

Breakfast will be served in the 60s style common room, roughly between 8: 00 and 9: 00 a. m.

I love strolling through the stalls of antique markets, fascinated by the thought of how many lives and eras these objects have lived through. Furniture that has passed from home to home, toys that have been passed down from child to child for decades before ending up here in these ever-evolving rooms, because I will never stop enriching them with new details.

A typical and ancient Lombard courtyard house recently renovated, respecting and embracing its characteristics and peculiarities. A house where stone walls and red bricks tell stories of the past, creating a special atmosphere that we hope will give you indelible images to carry with you on your journey.

What I appreciate about this area is that everything is within reach and easily accessible on foot or by bike in just a few minutes. A few steps to reach Porta Torre and access the historic center through the Roman walls, built in the second half of the 12th century.

And the lake.. I will never stop looking at it with wonder, amazement, and gratitude. I observe it, listen to its sweet and calm sound, and realize how lucky I am to have been born and raised in such an evocative place.

We stayed at this B&B in Como and were delighted with everything. The room and the shared kitchen were very cozy and creatively and tastefully furnished, with a lot of attention to detail. The hostess was extremely cordial and helpful and had lots of great tips for activities in the city for us. We felt very comfortable here and would come back anytime. \n\nHere are a few details that we particularly liked: \n\nThe room was very spacious and bright, with a large window overlooking the city. \nThe beds were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and modern. \nThe communication with the hostess was excellent. \n\nWe can fully recommend 'Le Dame della Cortesella'. It is a very nice and cozy accommodation with a lovely atmosphere.

Ilaria is a great host with amazing energy, contagious positivity and vast knowledge about Como and its surroundings. She will help you plan your trip, give you amazing tips about sightseeing and most importantly - where and what to eat. She will also go out of her way to make reservations for you (or call the train line to check if they aren't striking).\n\nAs for the B&B - it was much more than what I could have imagined. The location is perfect - walking distance away from everything important (city center, lake, train station, parking, shops etc.). It is very, very cozy and tastefully decorated, you'll find everything you need there and if not, just ask. Our room was quiet and we felt very safe.\n\nKeep doing what you are doing, Ilaria. Our stay and host, Ilaria, at Le Dame della Cortesella B&B were outstanding! Ilaria's artfully decorated B&B, hospitality, attention to detail, breakfast, and helpful suggestions for getting the most out of our one night in Como were exceptional. I highly recommend Ilaria's B&B for a true homey, Italian experience. We hope to return for a longer visit to Como and enjoy the company of our new friend.

I recently stayed at this B&B with some friends and colleagues. We had a great time! Even before arriving, we felt welcomed. Ilaria is a special person who immediately puts you at ease as if you were at home. Very valuable and accurate all the information she gave us. What about the structure? Very unique, welcoming, spotlessly clean, and carefully curated in every detail. The breakfast was delicious and also well-prepared. Che dire, ho scelto questo B&B solo dalle foto, anche quelle della colazione! Il buon gusto e la creatività mi avevano conquistato. Ed è stato tutto confermato: posto bellissimo, curatissimo, pulitissimo; per non parlare della colazione coccolosa e della titolare, Ilaria, gentilissima. All'arrivo ci ha dato un sacco di informazioni utili e ci ha seguito durante tutto il soggiorno con grande interesse e disponibilità. Il prezzo è paragonabile a quelli della zona, ma offre molto di più secondo me. Anche un breve soggiorno può diventare un bellissimo ricordo.

Ho soggiornato in questo B&B a inizio gennaio 2017 nella camera tripla. L'accoglienza di Ilaria, la ragazza che gestisce il Bed, è stata impeccabile, sempre gentile, educata e disponibile. La stanza era pulitissima e molto accogliente, le luci, il riscaldamento a pavimento e il dolce profumo che si respira hanno reso il mio soggiorno indimenticabile. Anche la colazione nella cucina anni 50 mi è piaciuta davvero tanto. Consiglio questo B&B a chi vuole trascorrere una vacanza a Como in un luogo incantevole che rimane nel cuore.
