Description

The Rosa dei Venti is a small independent house in the heart of the village of Portovenere. Its unique location makes it perfect for visiting the numerous natural attractions as well as enjoying the village life.

A unique and hard-to-find feature of this property is the presence of an outdoor terrace with a kitchen, sofas, and a small table covered by jasmine or a parasol on sunny summer days. Despite its small size, the Rose of the Winds offers a double bedroom with an open wardrobe, a bathroom with an extra-large shower, and an indoor kitchen with all the necessary amenities, which can be used at all times or in case of bad weather. Two air conditioners complete the facilities. Being a completely independent house, it offers guests complete privacy and relaxation. 200 euro depisit required. tourist tax to be paid over the rent.

Area city center

Our little cottage is located right in the center of the medieval village of Portovenere. To reach it, you will have to walk through the central alley and then climb a flight of stairs, one of the most photographed in Portovenere. Once you have reached the top, you will have arrived at your destination. Within a few meters, you will find the main attractions of the area, such as the San Pietro church overlooking the sea, the Byron cave, the castle, the San Lorenzo church, as well as all the natural and scenic beauties that only this part of Liguria can offer. You will have all the best restaurants in the area and the typical souvenir shops within reach. The sea will welcome you with the characteristic cliffs of this part of Liguria, but if you are willing to take a few more steps, you will find cozy pebble beaches, both free and equipped. Parking in Portovenere is all paid and stretches along the road that leads to and leaves the inhabited area, forming a one-way circular loop. Different rates apply depending on the proximity to the center.

Although small, this apartment is functional, extremely welcoming, everything is new and in working order, well-equipped. The small garden with comfortable sofas and table has a stove, a long work counter, and a huge sink, we loved it. It doesn't have a sea view, but it's in the center of the alley, very close to everything, and we really liked this location. Perfect host, excellent communication, whom I thank and compliment for how she made the apartment. Highly recommended.
