Clara Domus B&B

The stay did not excite me much, first of all because of the inconvenience of the check-in: even though I had called the day before to agree on the time of my arrival, I was not informed that the check-in was done in another structure (almost next door) and not at Clara Domus B&B, where I couldn't find anyone and tried to call the contacts indicated but got no response. So there was little clarity, a problem that caused me delays for the commitments I had afterwards. Then, the room I was assigned had quite a few defects: almost absent TV signal, I found the toilet dirty and the general cleanliness left something to be desired, the window didn't even close, the room is not very welcoming. The only positive note was the extreme proximity to Termini Station and the guys at the front desk and breakfast counter were very kind and helpful. Honestly, I do not recommend the structure.

The single room is small but with all the spaces to make oneself comfortable. The bathroom seems a bit neglected: small signs of mold and cobwebs, and the drain plugs are missing (this way you risk losing everything down the sink, in fact an entire soap was stuck in the sink). The location is super great, convenient check-in and check-out, and the staff is kind and helpful.

Structure close to Termini Station. Old and dirty hotel. The minibar barely worked and we had to clean it ourselves. The TV remote control was without batteries and, following our report, they took them from the air conditioning remote control, so we had to use one or the other. Superficial manager.

I stayed at Clara Domus B&B for 6 nights. The location is great as it is just steps away from the station where metro and buses depart connecting the whole city, and in a very short time with the metro or bus, you reach the most visited places in Rome. There are some reviews saying it's a bad area. In my opinion, it might seem so, but in reality, it's not. The area is very quiet and there are various restaurants, bars, tobacco shops, etc. Despite this, the room I took (Rubino) was very quiet! Very beautiful, comfortable, and tidy. For the prices of these rooms, I think it's really worth it and it's really nice! The room was located on the second floor, so to get there you would climb the stairs or take the elevator, which is also used to access other B&Bs or rooms, all close in the same building. This did not pose any problem, it was still fine. The only downside is that this elevator-staircase was not clean, it was very dirty. But I don't think this is the fault of the B&B manager since it's not only used by his clientele but also by those of other nearby B&Bs. But even here, it's not a very relevant problem since you don't sleep there. Cleaning is done once a day in the morning. Everything's ok here, although the floors could have been cleaned a little better. Clean towels are obviously provided every day, while the bed linen is changed every 3 days. Great. Breakfast: So, for breakfast, you shouldn't expect the classic hotel-included breakfast, but tickets to spend in a bar in front of the station and have the classic Italian bar breakfast. For me, it was better, as we woke up early in the morning and went to take the metro to visit Rome. So we stopped at the bar in front and took it to go. It was almost always convenient. Except for the fact that if you want to sit at a table, with those tickets they don't offer table service. I sat down once and had to order something extra, paying for it. The bar, however, is very nice, appreciated by many people, and the items are good! (platform zero).. I recommend it because I spent 6 nights there and I had a great time.

The only negative note is the parking which is not guaranteed as customers of the property to prioritize the customers of a pub given in management in the garden one notices the inexperience in solving the problem of the boy at the reception for the rest everything perfect.

Too bad that the entrance of the structure is almost obscene and also a bit scary because the area seems frequented by bad people and the gate is always open so everyone can enter and hide in areas not immediately visible. Also, the breakfast is good, it's a shame that it's outside and there are no vending machines for drinks and coffee.

I booked the rooms for my Polish relatives who went on a trip to Rome. They were very happy! The rooms were very clean, quiet, the manager was very friendly (they waited for them to check in late at night), the location perfect for spending 2 days in Rome and seeing many things. The price was very low for this area with this standard! We will definitely return there!

Room too dark, not pleasant with dark red walls that absorb all the light. A bedside lamp with a defective bulb wasn't reported, even though the bulb was placed on the bed and removed by the staff. Cleaning was excellent, thanks.

I booked at Clara Domus, but once I arrived there they tell me it's full and they move me to another property, still owned by them, in front of Termini station, called Hotel Agorà (more like a hostel). I ask them only one thing, that it's quiet since it's in front of the station! They tell me they have recently changed the windows and renovated the hotel. They register my documents and ask me to pay immediately for my stay and for my friend who will arrive the next day. Already there it seemed a bit strange. I never paid before! In hindsight I understood why. If I had seen the place before paying, no way I would have given them 70€ per night! Not even 30€. The manager takes me to the hostel and the ordeal begins: entrance without a sign, it looks like a condominium, elevator in terrible condition, but at least there was one since I was on the third floor! The entrance has an access reader with a badge, I thought if there was all that technology who knows about the rooms! Instead, it all ended with the badge! How sad. The room had the badge, but a door that if you push it comes down. The next day even the card breaks and they changed it 3 or 4 times. The room is what it is, but the bathroom is the worst. Not that I had to put on makeup. The bidet leaks water, the toilet comes off, the sink is orange plastic, no shelf to put anything, no towel rack. In short, a real disaster. The next day I booked the quarterfinals at the Foro Italico. I think to myself, Oh well, I go to bed and don't think about it anymore. An odyssey! I look at the windows, there are double glazing, the windows are a bit old-fashioned, but I convince myself... (Text truncated)

Good value for money.

B&B, very close to Termini Station. Very quiet and in a strategic position. The structure is clean and well maintained. The room is simple but tidy, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast at the bar is good. The wi-fi works perfectly and is very fast. The manager is a very kind person, helpful, and can give excellent indications on where to eat well. The staff is very polite and helpful. I was satisfied.

Traveling with children. Strategic location to explore the city. Very quiet place. Cleaning top-notch. Definitely recommendable.

I spent 6 peaceful days, the location is great for those arriving after a long journey (very close to the station).\n\nIt is in an old building but the room is cozy, quiet. A choice I would definitely make again.

I have visited many B&Bs, this is one of the best. Located near the metro and especially near the train station. Quite clean. The only downside is the breakfast at the Bar.

I stayed for two days and one night at this B&B. The receptionist named Anna was very kind and friendly. The room was clean and quiet. The only downside was the breakfast, which didn't satisfy me much, maybe because I am picky about cappuccino or croissants; however, this is not to be blamed on the B&B but on the barista. At best, the B&B could change the arrangement with a better bar located in front or at the corner of Via Milazzo, where I had an excellent breakfast the day before. I will definitely come back every month, as I am regularly in Rome, and I recommend it.

Room located on the third floor very nice, spacious and clean. Equipped with television, mini fridge, safe, television and wifi. Double bed plus single bed that we did not use. Also the bathroom clean with a large shower. The building, on the other hand, is quite run down, the elevator old and small. On the other hand, the location is optimal, 200 meters from the Termini station exit. Poor breakfast at a nearby bar, the bar itself is not bad but you can only choose one drink (hot or cold) and a croissant.

Very close and convenient to Termini station, to the metro stop, and near the tourist bus stop. Quiet. Although breakfast is served in a nearby bar (using vouchers provided by the manager and included in the price) it includes an excellent cappuccino and a always fresh brioche. I recommend it.

In an excellent position for any access to the city (car, train, airplane), it guarantees a pleasant stay with a high residential comfort. The kindness of the managers and the excellent cleanliness of the environments recommend the use of this structure without hesitation. The breakfast, in external collaboration, could be improved.
