I enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a bottle of wine, looking at the castle and the hillside in the distance. I had an exceptionally quiet and comfortable sleep. Daniel was a charming host (Happy Birthday) and did a great job. Hot shower and Nutella. Good location for Pompeii and Amalfi.

Everything was fine. Daniele is a very professional, easygoing and kind host, ready to give advice on places to visit and where to eat. The room was large, clean and well lit. The bathroom had a beautiful shower. I recommend it and I hope to come back.

We stayed at Il Faro for three nights and had a genuinely pleasant experience. From the moment we arrived, Daniele, the host, was incredibly helpful. During check-in he took the time to recommend places to visit and eat, not just in Salerno but also in nearby towns, which really helped us make the most of our trip. On our second morning my wife had a bit of a cough and wanted lemon in her tea. Despite our insistence that we would pick some up ourselves, Daniele went out of his way to get lemons for us. It was a small gesture, but one that really stood out. On our last day we had a train scheduled for the afternoon, and Daniele kindly let us leave our bags at the B&B after checkout so we could enjoy our morning without stress. Overall, everything—from the room to the breakfast to the host—made our stay at Il Faro feel warm and welcoming. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a thoughtful and well-run place to stay.

The accommodation is very nice, very comfortable, very close to the town center, the train station and the bus station. Daniele was always helpful, helped us with the luggage, respected our schedules and was always very kind. Beautiful accommodation.

Pleasant stay, the owner was very helpful during the welcome in which he explained in detail what we could do during the vacation. Impeccable cleanliness and well-kept room. Abundant breakfast, satisfying any type of need and request. I highly recommend it! Excellent value for money!

Il Faro is a B & B that I would recommend to anyone who wants to visit Salerno and discover the Amalfi Coast. The establishment is very clean, rather close to the train station and the center (everything can be done on foot without any problem), the breakfast is plentiful and especially Daniele, who runs the establishment, is really lovely. He is as discreet as he is helpful and makes himself available to provide valuable advice. If I have the chance to return to Salerno, that is where I will stop without hesitation.

I am happy I booked with Daniele, very welcoming host, ready to serve and attentive to details. The place is very clean, cosy and well located, only 16min walk to piazza De Concordia. Daniele tried his best to adjust to my plans, he recommended places and gave me the schedule of boats to Amalfi and Positano. I highly recommend this place, especially that the price is logical compared to other facilities.

The B&B is located near the train station, the port, and the historic part of the city. On the sixth floor of a building in a quiet area. Furnished with taste, very clean, and with the possibility of using the kitchen. The owner Daniele is helpful, kind, and reachable by phone when not on the premises. I recommend it.

The structure is convenient due to its proximity to the station but overall not completely satisfying. The heating was at the limit for the season and even raising it, we did not achieve great results. The breakfast is normal. The rate is a bit high compared to what is offered.

Not ideal and the AC does not cool the room making it a very uncomfortable sleep during warm weather. The place had an odor as well.

When traveling, it often happens to end up in 'refined' structures often located in very famous and celebrated locations but they always have the characteristic of being 'cold' due to their nature more oriented towards business. If you have felt this coldness and want instead a quiet place and a family atmosphere, I recommend the exquisite hospitality of Daniele at his B&B Il Faro. Spacious and decidedly comfortable room just a few minutes from the center. Impeccable cleanliness, brand new structure. Not to mention the abundant breakfast with many specialties. We stayed in the "Vento" room: simple, but attention to detail, clean and equipped with every comfort (hairdryer and toiletries... TOP!) with a private balcony. All this is complemented by the kindness of Daniele, always available, but never intrusive and a source of very useful tips for visiting the city. What can I say?! We had never been to Salerno and being able to do it during the Luminarie period was amazing. We will definitely come back in summer and, of course, we already know where to stay!

I really appreciated the cleanliness, the new furniture, and not makeshift as often found in B&Bs, the kindness of Mr. Daniele and the attention to details (support for luggage and shoes, etc.). Perhaps the thing I would suggest optimizing is the packaged products (due to health regulations, of course) used for breakfast, but it would really deserve a 10! Furthermore, I asked for and found fresh milk, so it's really just an encouragement. Many well-deserved wishes.

Quiet location and easily reachable once in the city. Top cleanliness and high courtesy of the host who explained all the rules to us in a simple and clear way. Simple but functional furnishings that evoke calm and marine colors. I would say the price is excellent for a stay about ten minutes walk from the city center.

We had a really nice stay at the B&B Il Faro. We felt like home. Daniele was very friendly and courteous. He gave us many advices for restaurants, beaches and many more. When we needed something, we could always contact Daniele. The B&B was very clean and it always smells fresh. The rooms look like on the pictures. They are very comfortable. Only 1 minute walking there is a supermarket. You can reach the beach of Salerno in about 15 minutes walk. With the car it is not far away to get to the next beaches of the Amalfi coast. Thank you for the good time!

We stayed in the Vento room on New Year's Eve. Daniele, the owner, is a delightful and very kind person who gave us useful advice on how to move around and was extremely available. Impeccable rooms in terms of cleanliness, welcome set, breakfast, and towels. Each room has toilet facilities, an old building but a recently renovated apartment located on the sixth floor. It was our first experience in a B&B but despite it being a 'touch and go', we were very satisfied. Friendly and polite people even inside the building, and in the morning we met other very courteous and kind guests. Everything was perfect.

Spacious and welcoming room, very clean, like the common room where you can have breakfast or prepare a hot drink offered by the owner. Attention to detail is the key and the kindness of the owner Daniele is priceless, especially for all the food tips. The B&B Il Faro is very close to the city center, so I highly recommend it.
