The Dimora del Cuore is located in Vieste, in a completely renovated building, right in the center of the town in a strategic position, close to the most interesting places and the most beautiful beaches of Vieste.
The dwelling is called the Heart's Dwelling because it is situated at the foot of the characteristic "stairway of love".
The stairway of love was created during the 1st Vieste in Love event, by painting a staircase that connects the high gate of the old town with Corso Fazzini, right next to the town hall of Vieste.
On the steps of this unique staircase, the lyrics of the song "The Legend of Pizzomunno and Cristalda" by Max Gazzè, presented at the 2018 Sanremo Festival, are written. The song tells the story of the legend of Pizzomunno, the white monolith located at the beginning of the beach to the south of Vieste, the "Castle" beach.
Some people have immediately given a symbolic and magical meaning to that staircase, saying that by walking it with their loved one, they will remain united forever, giving rise to a modern and romantic legend that makes Vieste "the city of love".
