Description
The Agri Gallipoli B&B is located in the countryside near the city of Gallipoli, just 4.5 km away. It is surrounded by greenery, with centuries-old olive trees and typical Mediterranean scrubland that characterizes the Salento landscape.
The property sits on over 30,000 square meters of land, rich with exposed rocks, myrtle bushes, rosemary, and oregano, which fill the air with the typical scent of the land. In the past centuries (1600-1700 AD), this land was used for manual stone extraction, used in the construction of houses in the nearby town of Sannicola. The quarries and paths carved into the rock by the passage of mules hauling carts full of material are still visible. These were the result of the hard work of those men who smoothed and wore down the rock.
Today, these shallow quarries and ancient paths have inspired the owner. The B&B is well connected to all the beaches of Gallipoli and other coastal areas such as Rivabella, Santa Maria, and Santa Caterina, as it is located in the central hub of the Lecce-Leuca highway. This allows easy access to desired destinations, even during peak hours, avoiding coastal traffic. Its strategic location also makes it convenient to reach Otranto (45 km), Castro (50 km), Torre Inserraglio (25 km - Fauna Reserve Natural Park), Porto Cesario (35 km), and Leuca (45 km), all within a smooth 20-minute drive on the Gallipoli-Leuca highway.
Each room is equipped with a bathroom, air conditioning/heating, and a TV with digital terrestrial channels. Breakfast can be enjoyed as early as 7:30 am (for early risers) until 9:30 am. It is served in the dedicated dining room or at tables outside under the relevant gazebo. In addition to the standard breakfast, guests can also enjoy freshly picked seasonal fruit, homemade pies, and typical Salento desserts, if desired.

Very nice structure, immersed in the greenery of the Salento countryside. Quiet to relax, but a few minutes by car to reach city and sea. The manager is super helpful and friendly. Super breakfast. I will gladly return as soon as I can.

Agri Gallipoli is a paradise and Vincenzo (the owner) is the angel who follows and advises you. Among olive trees, prickly pears, and Lecce stone, distant but at the same time close to the buzz of Gallipoli, you sleep peacefully, lulled only by the sounds of nature. It is also a strategic point to stay, in order to visit all of Salento. I highly recommend it.

Hello everyone. Short but pleasant stay. Rooms are very clean, the structure is brand new, immersed in a paradise of greenery. Thanks to its strategic location near the Rio Bo, Agri Gallipoli is ideal for both young people who want to spend a dancing night and for those who want to reach the most famous beaches of Salento. Recommended by friends, I found myself in a wonderfully located and perfectly managed establishment run by owners who know how to pamper their guests. Inside it feels almost like being in an Eden with fig trees, plants of all kinds, and a varied type of oasis that characterize this bed and breakfast. Delicious B&B just outside Gallipoli. Comfortable and spacious rooms, very well-kept common areas, especially the garden. The only problem is the discos, which have a very high volume and cause problems for all the establishments in the Gallipoli area.
