Description

The Antico Borgo B&B is located in the center of the ancient village of Montepagano, at an altitude of 289 meters above sea level, offering a charming panoramic view in its surroundings.

Perched on the hill of Roseto degli Abruzzi, a seaside town that can be reached in 10 minutes, Montepagano is a typically medieval village. By strolling through the streets of the historic center and breathing fresh, clean, and dry air, you can visit the museum of material culture, the Church of the Santissima Annunziata from the 1600s, a bell tower that is 40 meters high, and the three gates that were once the entrances to the village.

I stayed at Antico Borgo from 16th August to 22nd August, what can I say? Friendliness, kindness, cleanliness not to mention the cakes of Mrs. Lina! Mr. Pasquale is always available, ready to suggest places to visit. In the village you can breathe tranquility and enjoy the view from the belvedere, but a 10-minute drive takes you, clearly by car, to the center of Roseto. I really think I will come back.

I was positively impressed from the start after speaking with Mr. Franco, hotel manager. I had a very specific reason to go to Roseto, which was to visit Montepagano and Roseto, Gianluca Ginoble's ("Il Volo") land. Traveling alone, I felt treated like family from the moment I spoke with Mr. Franco and his wife Piera on the telephone. Needless to say, my stay was pleasant and safe just like visiting a relative. Franco, Piera (who is an excellent chef), their daughter Laura and their staff made my stay most relaxing, convenient and enjoyable. You truly get your money's worth and more.

We stayed for three nights in this lovely Bed and Breakfast, located in the center of the village. Mrs. Lina is very kind, the breakfast excellent with handmade pastries. The son also has another Bed and Breakfast that we visited, also not bad. Our room was spacious, clean, and with a beautiful view of the sea of Roseto degli Abruzzi. We were also able to enjoy what we found in the fridge (included in the price): water, ice cream, and yogurt. In short, we had a great time and we say goodbye to the lady, the son who is a hairdresser and did Antonio's hair very well, and the very nice wife.
