Description
The B&B Gli Ulivi is located in Sant'Anna Arresi in the Sulcis Iglesiente, along the SS 195, at the foot of the "Mont'e Giara", which gives its name to the nuraghe erected on its top.
The property enjoys a unique panoramic view, along the Gulf of Palmas and that of Porto Pino.
On fine days, in addition to the Island of Sant'Antioco which houses the towns of Sant'Antioco and Calasetta, you can also see the Island of San Pietro which houses the town of Carloforte.
Strategically located to reach the most beautiful and interesting coasts of the lower Sulcis area including: the beach of Porto Pino with its wonderful dunes, crystal clear waters and the fine white sand; the south-western coast of Teulada which, a masterpiece of nature for its natural and landscape beauties, is home to one of the most beautiful beaches in the world: "Tuerredda".
Sulcis also hosts much more on a tourist level, including archeology, mines and food and wine.
The town of Sant'Antioco, an ancient Phoenician Punic port, rich in history, tradition and culture, with its beautiful promenade welcoming for tourists.
The Mines with the Coal Museum and the Phoenician Punic remains of Sirai in Carbonia.
The medieval village of Tratalias.
The "Is Zuddas" caves in Santadi.
The Necropolis and the Archaeological Park of Montessu in Villaperuccio.
And still moving to the Iglesiente, stands "Porto Flavia" which is not a mine but a large port dug in the promontory overlooking the promontory of Masua in front of the rock of the Pan di Zucchero.
In addition to all this you can visit itineraries related to food and wine, agriculture and sheep farming, make wonderful excursions (see below), and for some years the "KITE" has taken hold, in fact just 5 minutes from our B&B there are important internationally recognized schools in the Gulf of Palmas in Porto Botte.
The property has been recently renovated and is equipped with all comforts and private parking (Wi-Fi, air conditioners or heat pumps, coffee maker, TV in all rooms).
It consists of four finely furnished rooms, air conditioned and with private internal bathroom
In addition, it has a large veranda and five hundred meters of garden with gazebo, where, on sunny days, you can safely have breakfast or spend the evening in the name of romance.
We are waiting for you at the GLI ULIVI Bed & Breakfast, to let you experience Sulcis!

Breakfast
Breakfast is a very important moment where we pamper our guests. Our specialty, in addition to the local seasonal delicacies, is to let you taste the SEADAS, Cheese and honey, a refined and irresistible combination that reveals the secret of the success of an ancient Sardinian recipe: the SEADAS, the famous fried sweets made with a sheet of pasta that contains a soft and tasty cheese heart. A filling that honors the typical flavors of the island, with its fresh pecorino with a sour taste that goes perfectly with the lemon zest, thus giving that fresh touch that distinguishes this dessert.

My name is Ambrosiano, I am 40 years old, I grew up with all the traditions of my country, I am a sunny, outgoing, positive and optimistic person who likes to travel.
I love my country and all its territory, in the last 15 years I have transformed my grandparents' house into a small tourist reality that I manage with my family.
I like to make the people I host feel good, I try to convey everything that represents our land, when I can I do not fail to savor our homemade ravioli and roast suckling pig enjoying everything with a good glass of carignano
I wait for you.

Area seaside
It is a small and renowned center of Sulcis, in south-western Sardinia: it has the particularity of a nuraghe in the city center and one of the most beautiful coastal stretches on the island. It has become famous and sought after tourist destination thanks to Porto Pino, the 'pearl' of the Mediterranean with dazzling beauty and an ecosystem in harmony between placid lagoons, luxuriant greenery, fine white sand dunes and clear turquoise sea. Sant'Anna Arresi is a pretty town of almost three thousand inhabitants of the lower Sulcis region, with a thousand naturalistic, cultural and food and wine attractions. Autonomous municipality since 1965, it extends on a hill overlooking a plain rich in coastal ponds (of Porto Pino, Maestrale, del Corvo, is Brebeis and Foxi), which host knights of Italy and flamingos. The lagoon area is delimited by the promontory of Porto Pino, covered by a vast pine forest of very rare Aleppo pines, thorny oaks and junipers, and Mediterranean scrub. Along the Arresina coast, among pink sandy coves, long 'desert' beaches and cliffs with breathtaking backdrops, the Caribbean paradise of Porto Pino stands out, a sandy stretch of four kilometers divided into 'first' and 'second' beach, which borders on is Arenas Biancas, the imposing and white dunes of the Teulada territory. In Porto Pinetto, you will find another 'jewel': Cala dei Francesi, a crescent of white sand with coral fragments, which plunges into the sea with emerald green and blue reflections. The name of the village combines the patron saint with the Arresi nuraghe, around which in the 18th century the original nucleus of rural houses was born, which gradually gave life to the current town. The 'tancato' nuraghe, that is, with two towers (the main one seven meters high and 13 meters in diameter) joined by walls that enclose a courtyard, dates back to the Middle Bronze Age (XV-XIV century BC). It stands in the central square, halfway between the 'old' church of Sant'Anna and the new parish church dedicated to the saint, celebrated in late July with a procession in traditional clothes. In 1986, in the Nuraghe square, a famous musical summer event has taken place since 1986: On the borders between Sardinia and jazz, animated by great artists of the world jazz scene. The Nuragic age in Sant'Anna is also documented by a source (which can be visited) inside the town and by various other nuraghes and tombs of Giants in the countryside, including the Coi Casu, inhabited between ancient and final Bronze Age (XVII- XI century BC), consisting of complex nuraghe and large village around, of which you will admire the remains. The territory assumed great importance later: the inlet of Porto Pino was a seaport in the Phoenician-Punic era and a trading center under Roman domination.
