I would like to point out that from next June you will no longer find me here, but on another well-known online site.

Ciao sono Michele, 42 anni, single, di origine emiliana. Amo molto viaggiare e i viaggiatori e penso che sia importante farli trovare " come a casa " anche se lontanissimi dal loro paese e dai loro usi e costumi.. i piccoli gesti e le attenzioni fanno sentire l'ospite come uno di famiglia, come se non fosse un 'ospite, ma un amico.. un nuovo compagno di viaggio alla scoperta di un nuovo piccolo mondo.

In fondo credo che viaggiare non sia scappare da qualcosa, quanto più sia conoscere tutte le stanze e gli abitanti di questa grandissima casa che è il mondo.

P. s. Credo che il mio prossimo bed & breakfast sarà su Marte.. extraterrestri permettendo;)

Michele is an exceptional host, as caring as he is interesting. He never hesitates to take the time to provide explanations, to ensure that everything goes well during your stay, to share a meal with you. The BNB is nice and well located just steps from the river and a few minutes from the lake. Do not hesitate for a moment, you will not be disappointed.

B&B Liberty is a great place to stay! We stayed there for 1 night on our way to Genoa. Michele is a perfect host and gave us a very warm welcome with a cold drink on his lovely cozy terrace. This was really refreshing with the heat of that moment. The breakfast in the morning was completely tailor-made. This prevents us from wasting food, as Michele has a wise and sustainable motto. \nWe recommend Liberty for your stay in Sestri Calende and thanks for your great service and hospitality Michele!\n\nGert & Petra - NL.

Very central location in Sesto Calende in a historic villa. Spacious and very clean room and bathroom. The true added value is the manager Michele: never found such a kind and welcoming person. The pure passion for his work shines through. The Liberty is a reference point for visiting the area. Well done Michele!

Persone come loro e come altri fanno capire la differenza tra un Hotel e un B&B, il primo ospita clienti, il secondo ospita "amici" come Luca e Giuliano, due Ducatisti.

Wonderful Liberty period structure preserved and renovated with taste and respect for the original style. The rooms are beautiful, comfortable and furnished with high quality products. One has the impression of staying and visiting a small museum rich in details preserved with grace and enhanced with care, like the splendid stone icebox (an ancient and rare architectural example existing in the area) that the manager (passionate guide) shows to the guests describing its history. In addition to these aspects of beauty and art (Italian excellence), it is a structure where you stay very well, rich in comforts, close to the center, extremely clean and comfortable in the use of services. The manager is a very pleasant person who engages in pertinent, useful and interesting topics. He helps in the most varied needs and spoils guests with breakfasts rich in fresh pastries, cookies and drinks, juices and tea, herbal teas in short, a rich and varied breakfast. There is also a wonderful little cat (beautiful) that welcomes everyone with purrs and caresses - a detail that I loved and appreciated very much. What can I say: I highly recommend this structure to adults and children and thank the manager for everything. Cri.

La differenza tra un albergo e un bed & breakfast è che, in hotel ti senti un ospite, nel B&B ti senti a casa, è come se la gente ti venisse a trovare, per parlarti, per conoscerti, per darti un consiglio.. e poi quando se ne vanno c'è quel po' di malinconia e ti fa strano dover fare pagare i tuoi nuovi "amici"che ti sono venuti a trovare,ma ogni volta cerco di accettarlo pensandolo come un contributo per finire i lavori che forse chissà un giorno finiranno.. Insomma la differenza tra un B&B e un albergo, ma anche tra un B&B e l'altro la fanno inconsapevolmente gli ospiti.. "sentendosi a casa".. Le loro parole poi ti lasciano senza le tue. Il B&B è un viaggio tra le persone e le culture, tra le anime e le menti stando o arrivando.. tutti a casa. È in uno di questi viaggi che ho incontrato Luca e Cristiana due anime gemelle.. si sente, si vive.. vivono in simbiosi in perfetta armonia non perché è scritto su un contratto o da qualche parte se non nel loro cuore.. Gran belle persone e di questi tempi è sempre più difficile trovarne come difficile è trovare le parole per ringraziarti di tutto. Un abbraccio grande grande.. Miky e Greta ?????????????.

The structure is charming and comfortable, full of antique furnishings and decorations that make it particularly welcoming. Sono commosso, gli occhi lucidi per dirla tutta. In una società devastata da ipocrisia, prepotenza egoismo e falsità come oggi, mi sento costantemente fuori luogo, fuori posto, fuori tempo.. e la voglia di andare lontano è tanta, poi capita"quasi per caso" di incontrare persone che assomigliano a marziani per quanto sono diversi dalla massa.. ma in realtà credo che siano, viceversa, gli ultimi superstiti dell'Umanità, della sensibilità, dell'Essere e non del non essere o apparire e sembra quasi dirti.. " resta qua, che c'è ancora vita in questo deserto di emozioni. Ci sono ancora persone vere, unicamente semplici e umane e per questo incredibilmente speciali. Grazie di cuore Lilla e Domenico.. Beautiful Italy! Small, cozy, lovingly restored house (villa) in the style of the 19th century, in the very center of a small town. Pleasant homely atmosphere, the furniture and paintings make you believe that you've stepped into a fairy tale: everything around you has slowed down, gone into the "past". You feel like immersing yourself in reading books and throwing away your mobile phone! At breakfast, you have the opportunity to chat with the establishment's owner, Michele, a very friendly and interesting person on various topics, because he prepares morning coffee for his guests. A charming house amidst multi-storey concrete walls: an oasis in the desert of modern architecture! We will definitely come back with the whole family again in May.

We stayed at the B&B Liberty at the end of August for 2 nights, using it as a "base" for our short cycling holiday. First of all, the house is centrally located: in the evening, within a couple of minutes, you can reach bars, restaurants, pizzerias, and the lakeside promenade. But what is truly priceless is the welcome and warmth that the house conveys as soon as you enter the gate: the small garden with the terrace, the room that was actually a small apartment (a living room with a kitchen - "work in progress" but when it's finished it will be wonderful - fridge full of all kinds of drinks, herbal teas, and kettle), the bedroom, and the bathroom. Everything is extremely clean and meticulously cared for in the smallest details, showing the passion of the owner, Michele, who made us feel truly at home. In the morning, a sumptuous breakfast with whatever you may desire. It's worth noting that the B&B is a Parco Ticino Point, well stocked with maps and tourist information. We wouldn't know what else to add because everything is perfect, and we will definitely return as soon as possible: to chat some more with Michele and pamper the wonderful cat Filippo.

For work reasons I moved to Sesto Calende and had the fortune to stay at the B&B Liberty. A fascinating building. The room was very spacious with everything you need to make you feel at home. I came to Sesto Calende to do historical research at SIAI and stayed for almost two weeks, so I had the opportunity to form a complete opinion about this property. My family and I stayed for a couple of nights after mid-August, we have 2 children and the accommodation offered by the manager was more than optimal, 2 connecting rooms with beds for everyone, availability of 2 TVs, fridge, small tables and bathroom, like a small apartment. We have had much worse experiences in smaller rooms at almost the same price, so very satisfied, not to mention the warm and familial welcome from the manager and his family. Everyone ready to meet the guests' needs, with kindness and always with a smile, a rarity.

We stayed at Liberty for only a few days but the reception, kindness, and availability of Michele and his parents were incredible. Not only will we gladly return as soon as we have the opportunity, but we have already spread the word to other friends and colleagues. We stayed in July for four days. The structure is located in a house that seems to me from the beginning of the 20th century. It's very beautiful, clean, and the owners worked hard to make our stay enjoyable. The house is in the center, a few tens of meters from the square with restaurants and the walk along the Ticino river, which is beautiful. Michele was very friendly, helping us to plan trips around. Courtesy, hospitality, and the warmth that only a family can provide. Simply a serene place 50 meters from the lakeside to stay with the discreet and kind attention of the owner. For work, I travel to Sesto several times a year and I continue to choose Liberty.

I stayed at Michele's B&B for only three days, but I immediately felt at home. There I found not only accommodation and efficient service but also kindness, availability, and friendship. Excellent breakfast, attentive to guests' preferences, Michele also prepares excellent cakes! In the garden, you can meet Filippo, a very sweet cat who willingly accepts guests' cuddles. My parents have also stayed at Michele's several times and will return.

Ieri ho visto le foto della Tonnara di Scopello, posto romanticissimo e ancestrale, il tempo e la natura sembrano "immobili", atmosfera surreale e bucolica nello stesso tempo, una cartolina fantaromantica. Cozy and familiar environment. Kindness and availability characterize the owner Michele. If you happen to go to Sesto Calende, I recommend staying at Liberty. Abundant and varied breakfast.
