B&B Sasso di Rocca is located in the heart of the historic center of Gaggio Montano, Bologna, offering a strategic position to visit the beauties of the Bolognese Apennines, including Corno alle Scale, Vidiciatico, and Porretta Terme. Surrounded by the tranquility of a characteristic historic house, our bed & breakfast is the ideal choice for those seeking a relaxing and authentic stay.
Our establishment, opened in April 2022 and completely renovated, has three comfortable double rooms, each equipped with orthopedic mattresses with memory foam toppers and private bathrooms. In the morning, guests can enjoy abundant breakfasts made with local, organic, and zero-kilometer products, served in the spacious common room, on the equipped terrace, or in the garden.
B&B Sasso di Rocca offers a full range of modern amenities, including Smart TV, free Wi-Fi, and reverse osmosis purified water, both sparkling and still. To ensure maximum safety, all rooms are sterilized and disinfected after each change, using an ozone generator.
Our cycling and motorcycle guests can take advantage of a garage or the garden to park their vehicles safely. Additionally, we have an agreement with the Nuove Terme di Porretta, offering discounts for wellness or therapeutic stays. Upon request, guests can also access our home restaurant and mini cellar with a selection of wines chosen by Barbara.

I am Barbara, the host and owner of the B&B Sasso di Rocca, which opened in April 2022. My dream of opening a welcoming establishment has finally come true! I love hosting people from all over the world and making them feel at home. I enjoy engaging in pleasant conversations and sharing the wonders of my beautiful land, the enchanting Appennino Emiliano. This region is rich in charming places, immersed in nature, steeped in history, and renowned for its excellent cuisine. Among my passions, my love for Italian and foreign wines stands out, as well as my great passion for nature and animals. I adore creating a convivial atmosphere and I am excited about my work.. who knows, maybe one day I will write a book about my life! I look forward to joyfully welcoming you and sharing unforgettable moments together.
