Description
Holidays in Salento, just 30 meters from the sea!
The air-conditioned apartment consists of a kitchen, a living room, a double bedroom, a room with three single beds, a bathroom with a shower cubicle, and a small veranda in front. A washing machine is also available. Satellite TV. Maximum 5 people. No pets allowed.

Marina Serra is a tourist destination in Salento located on the Adriatic Sea, in the south of Puglia, about 15 km from Santa Maria di Leuca. The landscape of this marina is characterized by the presence of rocks and fjords, with typical Mediterranean vegetation, clean sea, and transparent waters.

Marina Serra is truly ideal for those seeking tranquility and relaxation. Coming from Tricase and the Adriatic coast, you will find Santa Maria della Serra, a 16th-century church that offers a terrace overlooking the sea with a panorama of rare beauty. In Marina Serra, a fraction of Tricase, there are no sandy beaches, but the coast features a clear and enchanting cliff, like the entire Adriatic coastline from Novaglie to Santa Maria di Leuca.

Marina Serra
This body of water, of unique beauty, with its high cliff and clear, clear water, is a constant destination for Italian and foreign tourists.

History
Between Tricase Porto and Marina Serra, a stretch of coastal road with oleanders in bloom on the sides that create a truly wonderful setting, we find another natural inlet: the Canale del Rio or the "lu Riu" Canal. This inlet has given rise to popular legends so much so that the local people, giving strong and profound impressions of a wonderful origin, call it del Rio because they almost believe it was a diabolical birth (according to legend, the Rio canal was dug by the devil in a night only).

This body of water, of unique beauty, with its high cliff and clear, clear water, is a constant destination for Italian and foreign tourists. At a distance of a mile we encounter a small Temple dedicated to the Assumption of the Virgin and commonly called Santa Maria della Serra. The church, which dates back to the 16th century, was elevated to a sanctuary on 1 November 1950, on the occasion of the Holy Year

Description
The observer can immediately notice the Calino promontory which dominates the landscape, where the vegetation is rich and flourishing. Along the breast formed by the sea that enters the coast you can admire the Grotta Matrona (almost mother of all the others that surround the coast) accessible only from the sea and beautiful due to the reflections of the sun's rays in the water which is colored with blue hues like in the cave of Capri.

On the coast there is the Palane Tower which, illuminated in the evening, creates a beautiful effect.

To the east of the tower there is the room of an ancient cave with a circular shape cracked by time: people call it "Acquaviva". In fact, here there is a source of very abundant fresh water, which pours into the sea from two points during the hours of low tide.

Once you reach the top of Calino, before continuing the Novaglie - Leuca coastal road, a stop at the renowned "Belvedere" is almost obligatory, a natural balcony that overlooks the sea and allows a panoramic view of the coast up to the marinas of Andrano and Castro.
