"B&B "Vie del Mediterraneo", a simple refuge for authentic relaxation. This is the story of an ancient house reborn in the historic center of Porto Cesareo, just a few meters from the famous white sandy beaches, facing the renowned 'Isola dei coniglì which can be reached on foot or by taxi boats that provide shuttle service. Sometimes simplicity is also the result of great work. This was the case for B&B Vie del Mediterraneo, which the property brought back to life in the historic center of a small town overlooking the Ionian Sea, a few kilometers from Lecce and Gallipoli. Starting from an ancient ancestral home, some double rooms with private bathrooms, a beautiful masonry kitchen, and a large entrance in pure Mediterranean style were renovated, ready to seduce lovers of a simple yet refined style with the dazzling light of Salento. The renovation project involved the recovery of ancient local construction techniques, such as visible star-shaped vaults, a coating made with white lime and colored earth, combined with ancient designs of terracotta tiles. The owner wanted the B&B to be a home that reflected the place, its light, craftsmanship, and local materials.

The position is ideal and strategic, in a pedestrian area and in the center of the 'A. Moro' square, in front of the 'Isola dei conigli'. You are therefore immersed in the center of the town, in the area adjacent to the small harbor, with the wonderful sea view and the historic promenade where you can enjoy unforgettable and relaxing walks, especially at sunset. All services are available in the immediate vicinity of the B&B: trattorias, pizzerias, supermarkets, fish markets, pharmacies, bike rentals, and information points for boat excursions and guided tours. The B&B is located a few meters from the town beach and only 50 m. from the city bus stop that departs every half an hour to the famous beaches of Torre Lapillo and Le Dune.
