Alla Porta di Sotto is more than just a bed and breakfast; it serves as an ideal starting point for exploring the wonders of the Lunigiana region. Conveniently located near Passo del Cerreto, artistic cities, medieval towns and castles, as well as charming seaside spots, this peaceful retreat offers guests an unforgettable stay in one of Italy's most captivating areas.

Overlooking the historic Piazza Garibaldi, directly across from the Sarzanese Gate, also known as "Porta di sotto," the B&B derives its name from this picturesque entrance to the village of Fivizzano. The elegant building, dating back to the late 1800s and featuring Art Nouveau style, has been meticulously restored to preserve its historical authenticity. Just a short walk away, guests can enjoy the beautiful Piazza Medicea and the majestic Carrara marble fountain commissioned by Cosimo III.

The three rooms, each named after one of the village's ancient entrances – Porta Modenese, Porta Nuova, and Porta Sarzanese – are designed for maximum comfort. Two are located on the first floor, while the third, situated on the second floor, opens onto a stunning terrace. Each room is equipped with a private bathroom, a shower with a waterfall feature, air conditioning, a smart TV, and internet access, ensuring a relaxing and worry-free stay.

The furnishings, which maintain the period style, create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere. The bathrooms feature "cocciopesto" countertops, paying homage to local craftsmanship with the revival of an ancient and sustainable technique that enriches every detail of the property.
