Tenuta Pizzolungo

Contrada San Cusumano - Casa Santa, ERICE | Area: seaside
Declared by the Innkeeper

The farm holiday is located on the eastern slopes of Mount Erice, overlooking the sea, and it is just a few kilometers far from the historical city centre of Trapani.

On a rocky ridge that gently slops down to the sea, overlooking the estate, are cultivated vineyard, olive trees, vegetables and cereals.

It is very pleasant to go walking and/or bike riding in the surrounding area, to stroll about in the nature while enjoying breathtaking landscapes.

The eighteenth century country house stands in the central part of the estate, surrounded by a lush ornamental garden, with centuries-old palm trees, ficus, and pines.

Along the estate there are many rural constructions skillfully renovated, e. g. the "gebbia", an old stone tank used to collect water, the "stalla" (stable), nowadays converted to gazebo and barbecue area, the winery, where it is possible to look closely at old presses and other agricultural tools formerly used for the production of wine and olive oil.

Walking along the farm holiday you will encounter many courtyard animals, especially our peacocks who proudly show their beautiful ornamental plums.

Besides other facilities, available for our guest there is a small recreation area for children, and a boules court for adults, modern and comfortable apartments (with 2 or 4 beds) ensued from the restoration of some stables and other old rural building of the estate.
