B&B Alpe Cavallotti

Alpe Cavallotti, MIAZZINA | Area: hills
Declared by the Innkeeper

At the entrance of the ValGrande National Park, in the Alpe Cavallotti area at 1,300 meters, a fully renovated former refuge provides a peaceful retreat.

The property spans two levels: the ground floor features a living area with a kitchen, dining room, a spacious lounge (relaxation area), and a bathroom (complete with shower); on the upper floor, there is the sleeping area with bedrooms (both double and matrimonial) and a second bathroom (also equipped with a shower).

Outside, there is a large terrace where guests can enjoy breakfast or relax in the sun, surrounded by the serene beauty of nature, nestled within a vast private park filled with numerous pine, larch, and ancient beech trees.

Hot water is generated by a wood-burning stove fueled by timber sourced from local forests, while electricity is produced using solar panels and stored in batteries.

The property serves as an excellent base for various trekking adventures in the ValGrande National Park. Additionally, activities such as mountain biking, paragliding (with a take-off point just 50 meters away), or simply unwinding can be enjoyed.

Nearby attractions include a ZIP-LINE, Lake Maggiore (25 minutes to Verbania) with the Borromean Islands and the Gardens of Villa Taranto, along with many other points of interest.

The B&B is accessible by car from Verbania, approximately a 25-minute drive to Cappella Fina, the last stop for vehicles, followed by a 10-minute walk along a dirt road.

The nearest village is Miazzina (15 minutes away), which has a small grocery store, a newsstand, a tobacco shop, and a couple of restaurants.

Just above Miazzina, at Alpe Pala, approximately 10 minutes from Alpe Cavallotti, there is a traditional restaurant called La Baita.

Friendly and well-behaved dogs are welcome at the property.
