The house is located in the center of Castelnuovo Cilento, an ancient medieval village dating back to the 10th century, in the heart of Cilento National Park, 280 meters above sea level.
The village, located on the top of a hill, has a dominant position and an astonishing view over the Alento Valley and the Cilento’s Coast.
Francesco, great-grandson of Guerino, inherited the house and wanted to restore this unique place in order to share the incredible story of his ancestor with other people coming from all over the world.
He made the home more comfortable and welcoming but at the same time Francesco preserved its artistic identity and its original style.
Into the very walls, set among the small stones, you can find typical cornucopias used as a tray or bottle rack, and many other strange shapes.
The beautiful kitchen sink, crafted with the same technique, is a real masterpiece!
The house, completely renovated with top-quality materials, is 70 square meters approx, over 2 floors.
You will find there a cozy living room with kitchenette made in real modern design, 2 bedrooms, bathroom with wide shower and a 20 sqm mezzanine loft with sofa bed and relax corner.
The highlight of the house is an incredible terrace and its enchanting view on the seaside, the Alento Valley and the medieval tower of the village.
The house, equipped with air conditioning and double glazed windows, is ideal for small groups of friends, young people, families and can accommodate up to 4 people.
