10/10! Amazing place to stay in Como, very charming and close to the city center. Lidia is a great host, very welcoming and helpful. The best breakfast we've had in Italy!

Lidia was very welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. She was available to help with all our needs, including booking a lovely restaurant nearby. The bed was comfortable, and breakfast was superb. The location was perfect, peaceful (with parking), whilst being a short walk to the centre of town. Thank you very much. I would not hesitate to recommend Casa Gentile.

Casa Gentile is a really nice place to stay. The place is very relaxing due to a garden, there is a safe place to park and the rooms are beautiful. It is a short walk to the lake and the city center. Lidia is a wonderful, charming host. We love to come back every year and can only recommend Casa Gentile.

Family atmosphere, quiet and relaxing place, renovated and furnished spaces preserving the style of the late nineteenth-century building at best. Mrs. Lidia is the icing on the cake with her sympathy, professionalism, and cordiality. I can't wait to go back with my family instead of for work so I can enjoy this wonderful place even more.

We stayed three days in this property and we had a great time. The B&B Casa Gentile is a 10-minute walk from the center of Como and has free parking. The owner was very courteous and kind. The room is spacious and clean. The breakfast is good. All anti-covid regulations have been respected. Definitely a structure to recommend.

We spent a weekend on Lake Como and were pleasantly surprised and very satisfied not only by the beauty of the lake and its little towns, but especially by the kindness of Lidia, a truly excellent hostess of this B&B that offers everything one could ask for in a stay like ours. Lidia personally takes care of every detail, from the perfect cleanliness and comfort of the rooms to the excellent and plentiful breakfast, and also her full availability to suggest and recommend the best enjoyment of these enchanting places. In short, an almost perfect hostess and a B&B to recommend for many reasons. Surely, if we come back to complete our visit, we will stay at Casa Gentile.

Everything was perfect from the welcome to the breakfast.

The accommodation is top-notch! Lidia, the owner, is very very kind, provides great tips and assistance. During the lovingly prepared breakfast by Lidia, absolutely nothing was missing, everything was plentiful! The accommodation is located about a 5-minute walk from the old town center, very quiet, with its own parking and a great garden. All in all: always happy to come back and highly recommended! Thanks again to Lidia.

B&B Casa Gentile: a very pleasant stay at Mrs. Lidia's house, welcoming and caring, in a beautiful room with a romantic flavor, neat and well taken care of. We really enjoyed the rich breakfasts with fresh pastries of the day. The convenient location allows a short walk to reach the historic center, the pier, and the places to eat in the evening. The B&B Casa Gentile is a very lovingly run small Bed & Breakfast, Lidia Bianchi Monti is an extremely friendly and helpful host who creates a relaxed atmosphere. I felt particularly comfortable in her home. The rooms, bathroom, and breakfast room are tastefully and individually furnished without being overloaded, and all the premises are exceptionally clean. The Casa Gentile is located in Lidia's private home. There is a beautiful garden and Como city center is only a few minutes away, so the location is perfect. I booked this accommodation, among other things, because it was described that all guests would have breakfast together at one table. And indeed, it was particularly nice, cheerful, and enriching. Lidia's breakfast is perfect: fine and very appetizing. Thank you again for the lovely stay.

A 5 mn à pied du Duomo de Come, la Casa Gentile est installée dans une belle maison entourée d'un jardin où on peut stationner sa voiture. Le lieu est parfaitement calme. L'accueil de Lidia est charmant. Elle sait être présente sans s'imposer. La chambre Rose est très confortable, avec de beaux meubles et une décoration soignée. Propreté impeccable. Le petit déjeuner est excellent, copieux et complet. Avec les conseils de Lidia sur Come et sa région ce B&B est parfait. Merci.

We were staying two nights in the Casa Gentile and enjoying every minute! The lovely villa is situated close to the city centre, but in a quiet area. The rooms are lovely decorated and the beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was utterly delicious with freshly made fruit salad, crispy bread with ham and cheese and self made tartes – the best way to start the day, exploring the beautiful area of Como! Lidia, we thank you and your family once again for the extraordinary stay in your home. You're just the perfect host and we'll return with great pleasure!

We couldn't ask for more. We have been at B&B Casa Gentile for 3 nights, couple + 3 years old child. In addition to a very good location, clean and nice apartment to stay, Lidia the owners of the house was so kind and provide us all the information we were needed. It felt like we are at home.

C'est super super top. Belle maison, accueil parfait, bien située, Petit déjeuner extra too much.

Eine äußerst empfehlenswerte Unterkunft mit einer sehr liebenswerten Gastgeberin.

Die Unterkunft Casa Gentile macht ihrem Namen alle Ehre. Die Besitzerin ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend, so dass man sich von Anfang an sehr wohl fühlt. Das Frühstück an einem gemeinsamen großen Küchentisch ermöglicht Kommunikation mit den anderen Gästen. Auch außerhalb des Frühstücks stehen Getränke gratis zur Verfügung. Unser ruhiges Zimmer war sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet, die Betten und das Bad waren einwandfrei. Wir waren nur für eine Nacht dort, könnten uns aberauch einen längeren Aufenthalt gut vorstellen.

We stayed here overnight on our way to Tuscany and were very sorry we couldn't stay longer. Lidia, is a very nice lady who was very helpfull in helping find our way in Como (it was our first time there). her B&B did not steal his name! Above that the property is very beautiful and clean. The location of this beautiful house also couldn't be more perfect. In a quite area of Come, but with only a 10-minute walk to both the lake and the historical centre. Just about perfect. The breakfast is without a doubt one of the best we ever had in Italy. Very fresh and elaborate. With fresh fruit, pastry, great coffee, lovely bread and above all a nice chat with the other guests and Lidia. In short, we were very glad we discovered this gem. We have found ourselves a 'fixed' stopover to the south. Although truth been told, we hope to hope to be able to stay a bit longer than just one night next time. Thank you, dear Lidia for having us.

Struttura estremamente accogliente, eccellente per famiglie con bimbi piccoli, come abbiamo potuto sperimentare di persona (abbiamo due bimbi di 1 e 4 anni). La gentilezza, disponibilità e ospitalità della signora Lidia sono al di là di ogni aspettativa e garantiscono un'esperienza di qualità. Ottima la posizione a pochi passi dal centro storico ma isolata da confusione e rumori.
