Finally I met him! I courted him for a long time, attracted by its vibrant colors and original yet authentic style, but it was always full! I spent two pleasant nights and it did not disappoint my expectations at all. In fact! There is a lively, real, and intense atmosphere. I felt well received by the attentions of Rossella and Bruno, who offered me a healthy and abundant breakfast with delicious homemade products. Top! I just missed a slightly softer and cuddly pillow.

At Il Ghiro you experience living in a real Carloforte house, impeccable service and well-kept and clean rooms. Every piece of furniture and object recalls the tradition and culture of the place. The breakfast is excellent and rich, with Carloforte products, the yogurt and mulberry jam are super delicious. Genuine and sincere kindness and cordiality. Recommended for people who love authentic and well-kept places.

Everything perfect, from the parking under the house, to the cleanliness, to the friendliness of the lady at breakfast (I apologize, but I forgot the name :)). Bruno, if any of you come to Genoa, we have the B&B Villini Albaro or the apartment InCasetta and we would love to have you as our guests (the focaccia here is something else!). Easy to reach and very central location. The B&B Il Ghiro is very well kept, has a nice personality. Moreover, and not least important, it was a pleasure to meet Bruno, the owner. We will definitely come back!

We stayed at this property for three nights and it was a pleasant surprise. The B&B is located in the heart of the ancient village. All the furniture is well-kept and never random. Through the thick walls and the beams of the past, the memories of three generations come alive, and that's why it's not an anonymous place. Bruno is a friendly and helpful guy who kept us company during the excellent and healthy breakfast with local products. Thanks to him, we entered the magical world of this paradise island! If you really want to find a small downside, I would say that perhaps people who struggle to sleep could have some trouble falling asleep due to the noises coming from the square. However, the windows are well isolated. We will definitely come back if we are ever in Carloforte again!

Excellent welcome from Bruno who manages his charming rooms with taste and efficiency (excellent futons and memory foam pillows); tailor-made breakfast and as much advice as you want! The location is ideal, the two small rooms overlook the most charming square.

I stayed at the Il Ghiro property for a day and I was thoroughly satisfied. The property is located on the main square of the town, easily reachable on foot from the ferry terminal and the bus stop to the beaches. The interior is tastefully decorated with attention to detail, the cleanliness is commendable, and the breakfast is exceptional. In addition to being abundant, it is based on local zero-kilometer products, including wild blackberry jam, yogurt, and sweets made directly by the owners. Bruno, the owner, was kind and helpful. The only downside for those with light sleep, like me, is the excessive noise coming from the square below due to the chatter of people until late at night and the vendors setting up the Sunday morning market at dawn. Still an experience to be repeated! Highly recommended.

The eight days spent at Il Ghiro were particularly pleasant: the structure is very welcoming, right in the center, and well taken care of in every detail. The owners, two very friendly brothers, have always been kind and ready to meet our needs. A special mention to the breakfast: typical sweets, homemade jam, and fresh bread were never missing.

All super-positive to fear, not least the figures of the brothers Bruno and Salvatore, originally super Sardinians, Sardinians, deeply human and "cre-activist ecologists". Really to remember.

Great welcome and location of the structure. The cozy, clean room and the little balcony were the cherry on top.

If you need to free your mind, leave everything that can be polluting for yourself beyond the sea, this is the right place. Too bad words can't fully reproduce all the emotions experienced by you. I stayed for a weekend, the staff is very helpful and kind, the location is very central and the breakfast is excellent. I recommend it.

B&B really comfortable (right in the city center) and welcoming. Spacious and clean room, and a very nice bathroom. The manager is an exquisite person, helpful and always very kind. He even helped us find a shared taxi for the return, given the Sunday train strike. A heartfelt thank you, and we will definitely come back.

Siamo stati al B&B di Tore e Bruno a Carloforte. Struttura accogliente e ordinata, un po' pittoresca. Ci siamo trovati bene, la camera pulita e arredata in stile "della nonna", molto suggestiva e particolare. Un bel posto. Consiglio ai viaggiatori di provarlo!

Sehr nett, mitten im Leben, Frühstück mit einheimischen Spezialitäten. Fahrräder müssen allerdings auf dem öffentlichen Platz abgestellt werden.

Da provare buona posizione ambiente amichevile-friendly in centro positivo.

Un posto veramente fantastico. Tre giorni coccolati dai gestori colazione con prodotti fatti da loro (marmellate, yogurt) prodotti freschi di panificio frutta e cereali biologici per fare alcuni esempi. Da ritornarci sicuramente.

Très mignonne petite chambre, avec tout le confort nécessaire dans un espace réduit. Très propre. Seul défaut: l'éclairage insuffisant et même sinistre. La situation sur la place qui devient très animée en début de soirée est amusante (quadruple vitrage très efficace contre le bruit). Pas beaucoup de place pour les affaires. Mais quand même une étape bien agréable. Hôte très accueillant et sympathique.

Ottima pulizia e posizione e accoglienza. Il giudizio sulla colazione può essere falsato dal fatto che ho alloggiato nel B&B in un periodo fuori stagione. Prima colazione che può essere migliorata. Giudizio generale comunque ottimo.

Struttura ottima, molto centrale, pulizia super, gestore veramente disponibile, ci ha consigliato anche il ristorante per la sera, peccato non aver provato la colazione! In compenso ci hanno offerto il caffè ecologico un paio di volte. Grazie Tore, alla prossima.

Parfait, super acceuil, très bien situé, la place est super calme par moments et super vivante à d'autres, ce qui evoque parfaitement l'esprit italien. Impatiente d'y retourner très vite.

Ottimo servizio qualità-prezzo. Posizione centrale e comodità per la disponibilità del parcheggio interno. Per colazione ho avuto modo di gustare la marmellata di arance più buona che abbia mai mangiato.

Il B&B Il Ghiro si trova nella piazza principale del paese; confortevole e accogliente, rievoca nella memoria degli ospiti un'atmosfera legata alla condivisione e alla familiarità. I loved the time I could stay at Il Ghiro. It was much more than a bed and breakfast. If I needed something I could ask any time. If I wanted no contact it was accepted, if I wanted a little chat it was also possible. Thank you, Il Ghiro, for this wonderful time at Carloforte. It would not have been the same without il ghiro. Si raccomanda per la posizione centralissima, per gli arredi di atmosfera e la pulizia perfetta. Gentilissimi e sempre disponibili i gestori. Abbiamo trovato facilmente parcheggio gratuito in zona porto a pochi passi dalla struttura. Avevo letto altre recensioni dove si diceva che la piazzetta era rumorosa, ma a noi non è parso affatto.
