The Old Palaie has been our wonderful family home for two decades. During this time, we have hosted relatives, friends, and workers who have shared our home, lifestyle, dishes, and wines with us. Starting in 2023, we have decided to open our doors to outside guests as well, offering what we call an "awaycation". This is a proven format that many people have tried and fallen in love with.

In our home, where we also live, we offer a selection of rooms, all with private bathrooms. The environment is familiar and welcoming, enriched by the presence of #tryathedog and the newcomer #gigithedog! An awaycation is a vacation in a house that is not yours, but ours, where you can feel at home.

If you are looking for complete isolation, solitude, and total privacy, we are probably not the right choice for you. However, if you want to meet people with similar interests, make new friends over a meal and a good glass of wine, enjoy pleasant moments in good company but also savor moments of tranquility, then we are perfect for you.

Our lifestyle is focused on wellness, fitness, environmental awareness, and responsible use of the resources that the earth offers us. These aspects make the time spent with us more sustainable and enjoyable for everyone.

Parking is ample and free, located right in front of our property and offers a spectacular view. There is space for one vehicle per room, ensuring convenience and safety.

The 15-meter long and 4-meter wide swimming pool is accessible via wide stairs and has a uniform depth of 1.80 meters. It uses a salt system without chlorine and is open, depending on weather conditions, from mid-April to late September.

Our extensive garden offers a variety of outdoor spaces, including a large courtyard, a smaller garden, a vineyard, and an orchard, where you can find numerous private corners to relax, have a snack, and converse. We have a large outdoor dining table and another indoors, ideal for family meals, but there are also other spaces distributed throughout the property where you can sit and enjoy the view.

Utilities such as water, gas, and electricity are included in the price of the stay. However, we kindly ask our guests to do their best to limit consumption in order to maintain this sustainable experience. Linens and towels are also included in the price, with one set of sheets for each 7-day stay, or two sets for 14-day stays per bed. Bath towels are provided in two sets for each 7-day stay, or four sets for 17-day stays per person. Pool towels are provided in two sets for each 7-day stay, or four sets for 14-day stays per person.

Regarding laundry, we wash everything in-house using eco-friendly and biodegradable soaps, avoiding chemical agents and bleach. We do not iron towels and sheets, but we carefully dry them in the sun or in our laundry room, still ensuring a clean and pleasant appearance. Although we have a dryer, we prefer to air dry fabrics to reduce environmental impact.
